Shadow Game

After the day grows dim and the sun starts to fade,
that’s when the shadows come out to play all night.
Dancing in the street while you are sound asleep.
The shadows rule the night and that will never change.
But when the sun starts to rise the shadows start to hide.
For the shadows only rule the night.
Rest assured that they will come once the sun has set.
And once your resting your head.
